The Vé Experience
The Vé bench is a patented ergonomic seat used to kneel and sit comfortably on the floor. Thanks to its unique V shaped foot, it offers many benefits in terms of comfort, support, and well-being.

The Vé Bench respects the natural curves of the spine while stretching thighs and ankles and engaging core muscles.
Good Posture
This is the main advantage of the Vé bench over any other bench, stool, chair or cushion. Because the Vé bench is mobile and adapts to your body’s natural curves, it promotes a correct position of the back. This ergonomic quality fosters good habits making the user aware of their posture even when using a regular seat. Thanks to micro movements that make the body adjust continuously, the Vé bench engages the core and back muscles, key in maintaining a good dynamic posture.
Peaceful Kneeling
Although used in meditation for its ability to ground and appease, the kneeling position is challenging to sustain and often becomes painful and uncomfortable. The Vé bench provides unobtrusive support that makes kneeling a pleasure. Called Virasana, or Hero pose in yoga, kneeling expresses humility while sitting tall and gives a sense of dignity and intention. In this position, the pelvis is not open, which helps relax the hip flexors. The feet are allowed to stretch and the toes to curl in and touch each other. Kneeling on the Vé bench can be a daily pause in today’s fast paced world
Mobility
The best sitting position is one that changes. We all know that sitting on a chair for long periods is not healthy. The Vé bench avoids this by letting one easily move from one position to another: sitting, squatting, lotus, one or both legs stretched on the side. It is also easy to put the Vé bench aside and sit on the floor for a moment before getting up to walk around, stand for a while, and then mix it up again. Additionally, because the Vé bench is mobile, it fosters micro movements that keep the muscles active and engaged as the body adjusts naturally to maintain an anatomic posture.
Stretching and Toning
By design, the Vé bench affects balance, stretching and toning in a positive way: kneeling stretches the feet, ankles and thighs, while squatting engages the hips. Because the seat is mobile, core postural muscles are stimulated in order to maintain and readjust the posture.
Fidgeting Relief
Antsy adults and children who have a hard time sitting still find the Vé bench appeasing due to its ability to rock, tilt, turn while staying in place. One can hold the sides in their hands, move their feet, change positions, explore balance and focus on the activity rather than attempting to suppress their urge to move.
Low Sitting, in Style
For many floor-based activities, the Vé bench is the only comfortable sitting alternative. Among Vé bench users are musicians, teachers, gardeners, archers, children, students and people seduced by the zen lines of this simple, decorative and functional object.
The benefits of the Vé bench are derived from users’ experiences and have not been evaluated by the FDA or other regulatory authority. The Vé bench is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any health conditions, diseases, illnesses, pain or injuries. If you experience any discomfort while utilizing the Vé bench, discontinue use and consult your physician. Please consult your physician before using the Vé bench if you suffer from back or joint pain.
The Vé bench is not a balance board and is meant to be used exclusively on the floor, for kneeling or sitting. When using the Vé bench, always maintain three points of contact with the floor: the foot of the bench plus both knees, one knee and one foot, or both feet. Do not stand on the Vé bench or use it in places where you could fall and injure yourself.
